   Joy, thanks for posnitg the articles. If more families would engage in mediation, ugly guardianship litigatgion and substantial legal fees would be avoided. As a mediatior, as well as an attorney, who has been involved in many guardianship proceedings, I know that the earlier the issues are addressed the better it is for all members of the family. You are correct the time is now for mediating family disputes involving the elderly.
